Having taken his sample, Dr. Octagon verbally ruminates on the possibilities awaiting Murdoc as he is interrupted by Nurse Fran, now concerned that this new nurse (Noodle) is not in accordance with station nurse protocol. In a panic, Noodle suggests they use the Mind Reader on Murdoc to retrieve memories of his immortality to distract and hopefully persuade the Dr. from the more outlandish of his ideations.
