Whether Prokopenko was a Kavinsky original (a forgery of a person) or a true forgery (a replacement), Kavinsky dreamt him.

Made this version of him.

So, by all rights, Proko should be *perfect* for K.

But he isn't; and that's the biggest tragedy for them both.

Kavinsky can make these incredible copies of a person, but even when molding them to be perfect for him, they lack the parts that he himself doesn't know he needed.

Which is why I LOVE the idea that K absolutely loves Proko, but Ronan is the one who's PERFECT for him.

And Proko knows it.

But who is he without his dreamer?

so i have fallen victim to my marauders hyperfication again thanks to my friend whos irl sirius (yes harry potter yes jk rowling sucks fuck her and everything to do with her i enjoy my hp in a bubble and dont interact with it at large it was important to me for a long time etc lets move on) and unfortunately its made me realize. something..

folks in the trc fandom that arent part of the dream pack niche have always inquired ab my fascination with the pack. ive never really been able to give much of n answer outside of the fact that i love them to cope, i have a long history with drug use and less thn ideal homoerotic tense friendships, and the pack generally hits home for me as someone who used a LOT in school and had similarly toxic friends i did so with, etc. BUT. that covers me, sure, but what about normal people that made normal choices in school?

my thesis: the dream pack is literally the raven cycle fandom's replacement for the marauders.

anti establishment trouble makers with many interlinking homoerotic undertones, a negligible amount of canon information the fandom has taken and run with, most of the characters being completely fabricted by the fandom from a name, generally headcanoned queer and bipoc, the list goes on

anyway please tell me why you like the dream pack im interested to see what others have to say about them.

I know you said you write for TRC , would you be willing to do writing for kavinsky? I know some don't like him, obviously, if not I totally get it! But if so could you write kavinsky x prokopenko or kavinsky x Ronan because I know prokopenko is just mainly headcanons because he's never really mentioned a lot. (Am I even spelling his name right? Lol ) maybe takin place at one of kavinskys legendary parties ?

I’m going to have to turn you down for now anon, for a couple of reasons.

First is, I have no headcanons for Prokopenko. Mainly because I forgot he existed :S

Second, I’ve never written Ronan before so I’m going to play it safe by writing him with the Gangsey and Adam first, since he spends more time with them. Same with Kavinsky (though, maybe not writing him with the Gangsey. I’d have to do one of my weird character studies.)

So I’ll unfortunately have to say no this once. But I will tag this ask for you, in case there is someone in this great wide world of ice and fire who’s willing and able to write something you’d really like :)
