1. what would completely break your character?
crucial muse development questions
The combination of Andromeda leaving and Voldemort’s fall in 1981.
Andromeda leaving was the beginning of the end for Bellatrix. Not only did her betrayal break her heart, it also fractured Bellatrix’s own identity and how she had perceived the world around her. She had beliefs about herself that was anchored in how she believed people were like, and so the harsh realization that her sister was not who she thought she was (or believed she was) kind of just fucked up everything for her.
In canon, it didn’t cause a rude awakening in how bigoted and racist and discriminatory she was, and that supporting genocide is like, y’know, wrong. Instead, she doubled down. She threw herself fully into the Death Eaters and their cause, became even more cruel and wicked, trust issues outta the wazoo, couldn’t allow herself to be weak enough to care about and love people outside her family 90% of the time (looking at you, Lestrange bros), and basically any chance she might’ve been able to unlearn all the fucked up shit her parents indoctrinated her with and be redeemed just POOFED.
(Though just to be clear, Andromeda isn’t actually to be blamed on this. She gapped it when she could and actually made the effort to unlearn things and be more open-minded).
Voldemort’s fall and her subsequent 15-year-long imprisonment just broke whatever was left. Azkaban eroded away her finesse, her sanity, the capacity to be kind and merciful, and the instability that had shown in flashes during the war completely overtook her. The Bellatrix from before and the Bellatrix after aren’t the same. Plus the added deaths of Regulus, Evan, and Barty doesn’t help, nor does Sirius’s inevitable defection.
Basically, everything that happens to her throughout the entirety of the First Wizarding War and becoming a Death Eater broke her.
⛶ What tends to bring out your muse the most? What inspires you?
Certain music does the trick sometimes but other than that, watching the movies that Loki has been in as well as some fan fic helps. When all else fails, having Loki mess with people harmlessly is always fun.

“ You have ruined EVERYTHING for me. ” He curls and uncurls his fingers, standing by the window in the darkened room, looking out on the sunlit streets outside. “ Are you satisfied? ”

“And whose fault is that?” Laure hissed, hands fisted at her sides. "You tried to enslave the people of Midgard! Do you know how many humans died because of you?” All that stood between her and the (former) Prince of Asgard was glass, and she wasn’t sure what she’d do if there wasn’t. “Tell me - why did you do it? Were you trying to be like your grandfather, like Allfather, like your brother? Or were you trying to prove them right?”
