While wearing the amulet, you can use your action and touch one of the six animal figurines to gain a spirit blessing for the next 24 hours as described below. While blessed, you manifest random physical characteristics of the spirit that helps you. You can only gain the help of one spirit at a time.

Microdream Treasure

        Microdreams, as a result of dropping into a brief sleep while watching television, have always fascinated me. It was an experience I had a deep interest in even at the age of four. I found it intriguing how my dream would fabricate short narratives that were different than what was on television and vividly compensate for brief lapses in continuity.

        In this instance, I had been watching "Face to Face" from 1990. During the scene that features a small cave while Diana goes into it, I drop into a vivid dream that lasts no longer than one second.

        It is an astoundingly vivid image of a small treasure chest that is supposedly in the cave. On the right side of the top of the chest is a handprint seemingly caused by white powder. As I gaze at the scene with a sense of pleasure, I pop out of my dream, and for another second, try to determine if it was related to the movie. It was not.

        Microdreams have the same co-occurrent processes that other dreams utilize, though their brevity usually only results in one cortical event. In this case, the handprint anticipated somatosensory dissolution but was fleeting. Also, caves are analogous to entering sleep, and it is likely why I dropped off to sleep at that moment.

She told me to treasure you.

I tried.

And once again failed all of those

that I miss when they aren’t around.
