A tree came down during the storm before Christmas.  Winds came out of the west and belted through at 110km/hr.  

That’s 60 knots of wind.  

We were away at the time  . . . thank goodness, if I’d been home and witnessed this I would have had an apoplexy or two.  

The root ball stands about 12 feet high, the tree is about 85 ft tall.

It fell towards our house.

It JUST missed the house — but it missed it.

By 2 inches.

My shattered nerves.
