Mermaid’s are some of the most aesthetically pleasing creatures to draw. They’re even more fun animated, but sadly I can’t do that yet :/
But just look at their purty tails :3

This started out as the most random sketch - I just love Muru's facial shape? And then it kinda ... evolved.
Then I started looking at guru's n stuff and they all have this weird halo
But I wanted to be a bit more creative than that, so I searched up some henna/intricate circles which were cool, so that made my halo n background.
Then I got dragged straight back to sugar skulls
Before you knew it, I had a full on pic.
Oh yeah, and I had to look up pictures of Spaniards for the skin (didn't work, so I went for tan but it came out yellowy )

And here’s the first piece ft TTTE I ever did - Victor was and IS my favourite character
He reminds me of Muru ;)
