Do you ever just sit and stare at the trees? Today I watched the trees dance in the little wooded area behind my house. Those in the center didn’t have hardly any branches until the canopy but those around the edges did.
I watched them sway and wiggle in the wind and wondered how they didn’t all just snap in half.
Then it hit me: they supported each other. They’re all interlocked with each other and the branches at the top keep them all standing together. That’s also why those at the edges still had branches all the way down. They had to support themselves and then ultimately those on the inside.
