What are your opinions on TreeRoot (especially after Bristlefrosts death)?
Well, I think we can all agree that Tree marches to the beat of his own drum and isn't going to be constraint by conventional relationship structures, so I definitely feel like TreeRoot is always on the table. I hc them both as bi/pan anyhow so no issues there. I don't really see TreeRoot being a romantic thing really. I think if they got together it'd be more casual and in the vein of "let me help you out with that" or "let me teach you a nice move I learned" or "why don't you show me how you're coming along". Friends-with-benefits but with that paternal energy maintained.
As for the Bristlefrost thing, I could see that being a catalyst, but I mostly think of that being too sad/serious of a hook for TreeRoot (this is ShadowRoot territory). I think it's better if this all starts up out of Rootspring's canon "my dad is cringe" -> "my dad is... cool?" arc.
