I took a lot of pictures today. Found so many things, these really cool mushrooms and about a hundred perfect swimming holes. Life all around me. I’m so grateful for all of it. Today I did a solo river hike. I’m pretty sure I discovered a gypsy camp. At least the general area. I kept hearing them whistle to each other in the forest before I saw them. They seemed to be watching me. Maybe making sure I didn’t get too close. I should have tried to talk to them but they intimidated me a bit. They looked like they came off a pirate movie set. I watched them move to see if they were comfortable, skilled at moving over the difficult terrain. Some moved as well as me. I was jealous that they had figured out a way to stay. Leaving the forest is always a difficult thing for me. I miss my tree! If I could have moved my tree to my new house, I sooooo would have! These special coral trees are hard to find and I planted it YEARS ago as just a sprout and it grew outrageously tall and just wasn’t something you could move. Magical memories with this tree every day.
