Well, that red carpet managed to be both weird AND boring. A real feat!
it was just boring

Ignore if this is too general, but: I request a personal headcanon of yours for Peter and/or Harriet that you haven't worked into a fic yet.
This is delightful to think about. I must offer excuses in return, because the things that come to mind as Something I Haven’t Worked Into A Fic remain unwritten because they are (so far) nebulous.
1. Peter: We know Peter Wimsey pretty well through the novels, through his mother, through Uncle Paul. And yet we never get to see how he develops the network of friendships that we find established. How did his friendship with Charles Parker develop before we first find them? What were his friendships at school and at Oxford like, that mean he knows men with odd nicknames like Chuffy and Biff and Pongo, employed at various embassies? What is Peter Wimsey like as one of a group placing umbrellas on the Caesars outside the Sheldonian?
2. Harriet: I would also love to see more of Harriet as the doctor’s daughter with £5 a term to make whoopee on, in her own evocative phrase. She seems to have had a very affectionate relationship with her father, and it speaks well of him and the relationship that she did go up to Oxford, with no apparent parental hesitation. I’d love to see Harriet as the gawky second-year finding her place among the golden stones of Oxford, and I’d love to see her discovering the power of her own writing.
Treets - Fond dans la bouche, pas dans la main…
Ben voilà, si à présent tu le chantes toute la journée, ça date l’âge de tes artères !
treets replied to your post “do you mind talking about why you dislike Love Actually and Richard...”
I also can't forget how Keira's character thinks Andrew's hates her at the beginning so, assuming she and Chiwetel had a normal and non-whirlwind relationship, he'd been acting like a dick to his best friend's girlfriend for YEARS just because he couldn't deal with his own feelings.
FOR YEARS. Which apparently the two of them have just been dealing with.
The only thing that could redeem it for me is if it’s revealed that Keira and Chiwetel are sleeper assassins who have been using Andrew as an asset/part of their cover as an ordinary couple, and this stalker shit comes out just as they’re about to move on to the next assignment, so they decide to make the most of it and murderise him before they disappear. Next time they pop up on Interpol radar they look like this, but are never caught, and continue their international life of crime as deadly assassin marrieds. All you need is love. And a long-range sniper rifle.
