if you could have any view from your bedroom window what would you choose?
hmm, I mean as long as we’re dreaming, how sick would a view of Central Park be? I want to live in a city but a view of some green would be cool too.
what’s your favorite thing to do on a sunny day?
well I am very not an outdoor person but my house (as in my parents house) has these high windows and when it’s sunny there’s this amazing shaft of light in the living room and sitting in it with reading material is the best. alternatively, go to disney world but that’s not in the spirit of the question I don’t think.
what do you consider lucky?
my brother. He is the most absurdly lucky person I know and it is infuriating. When I was younger, I played blackjack with him to teach him that the house always wins and he got 21 on his first hand and a straight blackjack on his next hand. Once, we played this game on the back of a lucky charms box where the only mechanic was flipping a coin and he beat my 27 times in a row. statistically speaking, I should have won half of those games. nope. 27 straight losses.
what made you smile today?
kind of a rough day big picture, but I did see La La Land and The Mummy Returns for the first time with my brother and both were delightful.
what makes you happy?
teasing my friends. teasing other people with my friends. getting on a writing hot streak. That feeling when you’ve been in a theme park for a little while and you check the time and it’s noon and you know you still have like another ten hours in the theme park. Publix Subs. When someone remembers something I said in a conversation like a month ago. Getting to see a musical live. Having a receptive audience when I want to rant about something trivial for the fun of it. Hamilton soundtrack listening parties w/ friends as obsessed with it as I am. dogs.
