Long time no see Zombies, Run!, how we doing? 👀
THE SHEEP DETECTIVES (2026) dir. Kyle Balda
the kids are calling them "stone fruits." they start off small—think cherries. then they're hooked and they need a quick fix, they get peaches, maybe some nectarines. it's all they can think about. before you know it, they're trying the really hard stuff—apricots, plums. once they taste a mango there's no going back.
Mike Flanagan's The Picture of Dorian Gray: Dorian and Sybil get married and Dorian is saved by the redemptive power of family.
Mike Flanagan's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: Mr. Hyde is snapped out of it by his daughter (who he has in this version) nobly sacrificing himself so that she and Jekyll can live happily ever after.
Mike Flanagan's The Yellow Wallpaper: the narrator gets to see her baby and is so overcome with love that she recovers and rejoins the family.
Mike Flanagan's The Woman In Black: Arthur manages to reunite Jennet and Nathaniel's ghosts, and they walk off into the sunset together holding hands.
Mike Flanagan's We Have Always Lived In The Castle: Constance and Merricat hug it out.
Mike Flanagan's The Ring: Reiko adopts Sadako's ghost and raises her with Yoichi.
I love asking people how their parents met. You always get an interesting reply. My best friend’s parents met on the relatively new internet in 1999. My other friend’s parents met at Burger King when one was the manager and the other was a regular customer. My parents met at the beach because they were neighbors in their rental houses, mom was on a church trip and dad was getting blackout drunk every night with his friends next door.
Tell me how your parents met in the tags.
“my father is a boy and my mother is a girl so i’m mixed” is the funniest possible response to someone asking your gender and it came from 6’5 Viking footballer and notable weird little guy Erling Haaland on a Snapchat
comedians can only dream of writing something this funny
The Tube Post has been updated for 2026! Endless thanks to @andstuffsketches for the amazing art (!!!), @rowenabean for checking this over for me (all remaining mistakes are my own), @kelpforestdwellers for extra tips, and @appleyblam for an editing pass. Thank you all!
If you would like to download the zine for your own use, you can find it for free on itch.io.
Now I love comically large Adrian as much as the next guy, but hear me out on the potential of a comically small Adrian
rachel reid expects me to believe these people would allow shane hollander to be run out of town after he won them three stanley cups like oh okay
What is your middle name?
The name of one of my parents
The name of a relative or ancestor
The name of a friend of a parent
My mother's maiden name
A religious figure's name
Just a name my parents liked
Other
I don't have a middle name
I'm Option #1: My middle name is my mom's name. But I'd like to know if that practice is very common or not.

Don’t sleep on this one! It’s on AppleTv ❤️
my favorite thing about navigating fanfiction is finding a really good one and being all “oh boy this was good, I hope they have more!” and literally every other story they’ve ever written was for like Miami Vice
the tag game on this post is so strong
#a lot of the time this happens because someone in their 40’s got into 1 new thing and threw a fic at it before resuming business as usual#like sorry gang they’re not a youth who’s weirdly into your mom’s shows they’re your mom who played genshin impact
I ended up marrying the mutual who put this funny tag on my post . true story.
I'm watching a horror movie about a spooky podcaster (that is CLEARLY biting The Black Tapes' style) and it's driving me absolutely insane that they're doing a conceit where she puts on all her headphones and all the ambient sound in the room goes away... and every time she takes them off we hear THE LOUDEST CLOCK ON EARTH, which has been ticking in the background of her podcast the whole time, because THE MICROPHONE DOESN'T WEAR HEADPHONES.
6/5 stars.
She is also recording in the dining room of her mom's house, where all of the first floor rooms intersect, and sitting on a wooden kitchen chair. Your will hear ALL the ambient noise from this house >_<

My friend had to hear my hot takes about this movie, so now everyone else does too:
my final heated rivalry thought of the night is i do genuinely think it exists in this weird space of requiring you to both be a hockey fan and not know anything about hockey. schrodinger's hockey fan. you need to know about hockey because half the stakes aren't really explained to you at all. see: hockey culture/homophobia. see: the montreal-boston rivalry's unique significance. etc. but you also need to not know anything about hockey because if you do then you look at the long game and go: montreal would not do that. ottawa would also not do that. also why are the 1oa and 2oa going to world juniors twice. why is no one throwing hands at ilya for being that close to their injured captain on the ice.
