LPU Engineering Program ranked 10th by World University Rankings 2022

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which is counted among the most reputed rankings globally for higher education institutes world, has ranked Lovely Professional University (LPU) amongst the top universities of India in various disciplines. Thousands of universities from across 99 countries participated in the ‘Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022’ system this year. In the Engineering subject LPU is ranked at 10th position sharing the position with BITS Pilani and many of the IITs, while in Computer Science LPU has been ranked 9th sharing ranks with Delhi Technical University; and, America’s Florida International University.

In the ‘Clinical & Health’ subject LPU is ranked 8th amongst top universities of India and is covered in 601+ Band globally sharing ranks with America’s Texas State University and AMU of India. Similarly, sharing the league with Canada’s University of Windsor and India’s University of Calcutta; LPU is also ranked 10th in Life Sciences for 601-800 Band.

the “Anchoring Workshop” was organized by LPU

the “Anchoring Workshop” was organized by the collaborative effort of UNYC, Griffin, and Aurora LPU to anchor the anchoring skills into the aspiring speakers. Mr. Sachin Sidhra, Assistant Professor at LPU, took this workshop on anchoring skills.

The workshop started with an overwhelming introduction of Mr. Sachin Sidhra. Mr. Sidhra started out with expectation settings from the attendees. This was a fantastic way to cater a customized session to the audience’s needs to ensure maximum output from the session. The attendees are expected to attain the required skills for anchoring events. Mr. Sidhra also explained that the anchors are even called the masters of the events.

Teachings by Honorable Anna Hazare in Udaan 4.0 organized by LPU Tachyons

LPU Tachyons invited honorable Anna Hazare Ji to guide the students under their Udaan 4.0 initiative. Anna Hazare is a household name for the Indians for revolution and social activism. He was awarded Bhushan for his social work. His achievements are not limited to the trophies and positions he got but are extended to his change into society.

This session came live on LPU live page and was hosted by Mr. Sachin Sidhra, a faculty member of LPU. Anna Hazare told about his feelings towards Independence Day and the sacrifice of all the martyrs.  He says that the youth’s power is our society’s power. He said he is not here to tell everyone what he did, but he is here to aware the youth of their responsibilities.

Lovely Professional University upholds pure dominance over Outlook ICARE rankings 2021!

The honored Outlook’s annual rankings for higher education institutions in India (in collaboration with ICARE) are out! And needless to say, now and then, Lovely Professional University asserts pure dominance! As opposed to other varsities, it’s not just the engineering department that is ranked within the top ten. All six schools, School of Law, School of Architecture, School of Fashion, Mittal School of Business, School of Hospitality, and indubitably the Faculty of Engineering, all ranked within the elite ten in India.

LPU to reward Rs 1.3 Crores to its Olympic Medal Winning students

Lovely Professional University will gift INR 50 lacs to Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, who is pursuing his Bachelors in Arts (B.A.) from the university. Neeraj has made billions of Indians proud by winning Gold in the Javelin throw event at Tokyo Olympics 2020. The University will also reward its wrestler student Bajrang Punia with Rs. 10 lacs for winning the Bronze Medal in the men’s freestyle 65 kg wrestling category. Bajrang, who is pursuing his MA in Public Administration from LPU, beat his rival Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan to clinch an 8-0 victory at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The university has already announced a reward of Rs. 70 lakh for its seven hockey players of the Indian team which won an Olympic medal after a wide gap of 41 years.
