Digimon Adventure tri ~ Notes / References / Timeline

At around the 16:34 timemark of Episode 01 ( Movie #1, Saikai ) Taichi Yagami is texting Sora Takenouchi asking about Yamato’s concert ( the cap above is seen for like a split-second )

The second name listed above, text #0002 an earlier text, is from Koushiro Izumi about two days before. ( on 06 / 17 / 2005 ) 19:41 = 7:41 P.M. ? ?? ( a.k.a, in the evening ) [ in contrast, Taichi texts Sora during a school morning, at indicated 10:05 A.M. ] [ note: the very end of Tri confirms that it takes place during the year / summer of 2005, confirmed by what Takeru is seen writing near the ending scenes . ]

泉 光子郎 = Koushiro Izumi’s name written in Japanese ( compare to screenshot above )

This implies Taichi and Koushiro are TEXTING pre-Saikai

... which one can pretty much determine on their own anyway considering Taichi & Koushiro’s friendship, but it’s a fun fact to have confirmed !! !

( BONUS: CONSIDERING THE 02 CHOSEN CHILDRENS’ DISAPPEARANCE PRE-SAIKAI ... )

NOTE:

In the 2nd gif, Koushiro mentions the Izumi’s wedding anniversary is on the same day of Taichi’s game, which is why Koushiro had to refuse, even if Koushiro would have gone to watch.

Going by this, we can actually presume the Izumis were married

ON JUNE 19TH of a previous year (likely not long) before Adopting Koushiro!
