Triangular Magic - Issue 5 Robyn redraw

Finally back to doodling for a bit and this time this wee pic from before caught my attention and I wanted to redraw it.

The first (left most) was done around 1999 (issue 5), the second probably around 2000-2001 (when I was about to redraw the entire comic due to my style changing, right before I started the Sakura Yume comic). The old stuff is cute but with hair/eye proportion issues now that I look back on it.

A lot has changed in those 20 years...damn I'm old 😭

Time for Halloween-y pics and the first is another pic of the Witch Robyn from my other old (being-rewritten) comic story.

Robyn Valkyr - 2019 (redraw 2005)

Seen this old character sheet i used to commission a Robyn plush toy 13-14 years ago and i thought...i wonder what she looks like now in her newer design and newer style.

And so, on my flight and journey back home from holiday (hence my lack of posts the last few weeks) I doodled her up using the same methods as my recent Louise Belcher pic.

Pearl + Phoebe doodles

Just some doodling of my older comic characters, trying out something different for the styles. Some of it i like (Phoebe side face), some of it I don't like (Pearl straight on face - proportions wrong 😞 ).

I'll draw more of them over the xmas break, i feel like I'm getting close to something new :3

Pearl and Phobie - child versions

2 of my characters from my other comic “Triangular Magic” drawn as children and coloured with pencils. I’ve often drawn these 2 in…well, risqué yuri poses as adults here ^^;; child Pearl has been in a few xmas card designs over the years 😀 child pearl is always fun and cute to draw!

If anything it was more practice in trying to blend colours on polychromos pencils 😊
