triceratons, anyone?

got really into playing with the concept of trikes in rottmnt universe. what if their society consisted of different species of ceratopsians. what if they originated on earth but krang wiped them out. what if some of the colonies survived in the space. what if they come back to their home planet after the krang invasion. what if they were a significant part of yokai history. what if.

So... You know how Bishop has that one Triceraton in his lab? Well, while I was browsing images from the episode " Aliens Among Us" for references for a Utrom that he apparently has. And uh....

DUDE HAS MORE THEN ONE TRICERATON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's like 11 of them!! What the hell, Bishop?! Did you just help yourself when the Invasion was over?! Are they even alive?! 2 of them are even ensigns!!

I was honestly genuinely surprised when I saw this since I've never noticed them before. How could I not know?!

Well, it looks like Maxx and his grandfather are going to do some serious talking with Bishop( mainly with fists via Mozar)

So many people contributed pieces covering almost all versions of TMNT we've had to date, and my assigned role was to carry the torch for the original Mirage comics, which I was thrilled to be able to do.

I decided to lean into the Turtles in Space arc, which is one of my favorites (Triceratons are just cool okay), and also made sure that it had some good groanworthy puns. Mirage TMNT has this mythical reputation for being Too Hardcore For This Soft World, but it's actually a very goofy comic that's allowed to have a little blood and intensity sometimes. I love that and wanted to make sure the goof came through.

Here's a couple WIPs, including some of my training to emulate that oldschool indie comic style! It was fun trying to get all the shapes and shading right!

Once you made a post about the triceratons in the rottmnt movie, and before that, I hadn’t even noticed! That was the missing piece that made the fic actually work and grow.
