I Heart Roma! Travel Journal #1

Ok, I know I've been a bit MIA these couple of weeks, and I'm sorry to say that for about the next week It's not going to be any better...

BECAUSE I'M IN ROME!!!!!

I'm so happy! Everything here is so beautiful! And I don't need to stay at an expensive spring-break priced hotel because my family and I are lucky enough to have a bunch of friends living all over Italy. In a few days we'll go to Milan, where we will stay with more of our friends. We are planning a day trip to Venice, maybe more. But who knows? I'm just glad to be here!

So, what I'm going to do is update you guys on some of the cool/intresting/amazing/beautiful things I see here!

Fountain of Trevi - My most favorite part so far! I know it's just the first day but, god, you guys. It was just - wow. Awesome.

A street artist with a picture of Jensen Ackles - I was half tempted to buy it, but then I decided not to. What was strange though is that no offense to Jensen, but he's not the most well-known American Actor. Was going to ask the artist if he watched the show, but I speak Spanish, not Italian.

There's this park near the apartment of our friends, and it was nice, quiet. Had this cool statue of Byron and Goethe. Very nice to take a walk.

This huge Egyptian Obelisk. It was apparently transported here whole. It was cool to see all the Hieroglyphics. I wonder how they got the whole thing here? There were about two of those that I saw.

That's not all, but that's all I'm going to say for today. I'll try to make as many of these as possible, ok? Bye!
