King is going to have one hell of a character arc in Season 3 now that he's buddied up with the literal son of the universe.

Yeah, unfortunately Belos is going to squeeze every last drop of usefulness out of Hunter before we hear the last of him. Our main antagonist isn't going anywhere.

Very dark thought: This is way too morbid for Disney to ever do, but my fantasy ending/death for Belos would be for him to go the same way real witch hunters killed thousands of innocents - burning, hanging, or drowning. A man who makes it his life work to commit genocide and then crosses time and space to double his efforts to a realm of complete strangers who literally have no relation or impact on his own realm deserves a fate worse than a quick splat on the wall.
