Been thinking about trying lsd for the first time, do you have any advice? Please and thanx!
Woo boy, let me preface this by saying I’m not a professional and all advice I’m giving here comes from first hand experience of my own trips and from seeing others, and results will vary for everyone. Erowid is a great source and is what I used to prep for my first trip, but I’ll go ahead and outline some basics here.
-First off, you want to make sure what you’re getting is actual, real LSD. Buy from a person you trust, preferably if they have feedback from other people who have taken from the same batch. Wrap it in tin foil, put it in a small airtight container, and stick it in the fridge. Alternatively, if you can’t do that for whatever reason, stick it in a book. Do not touch the blotters themselves with your finger, it will mess with the potency. Only hold the edges.
-Next is prepping. If you are in a bad emotional place, I do not reccomend taking it. Its easy to slip into a hole of negativity, microfocusing on all the bad aspects of any situation and creating a panic in your mind. What happens in a trip can have long lasting mental effects. I highly recommend having someone you trust stay sober and babysit so they can talk you down and reassure you if you start to slip into a bad mental place.
-Eat before, but not immediately before. I personally get super hungry when tripping, but I know a lot of people who get nauseous. Keep some healthy, easy snacks on hand just in case, like fruit and veggies. You do not want to cook while tripping. Also, buy a 24 pack of water. You WILL be thirsty. Clean your house/room/trip location the day before, and I mean really clean it. Trust me, it makes the experience better. Gross things look really gross when they’re moving too.
-Mirrors freak me out when I trip, so I usually cover them, but that’s up to you. You may get stuck staring at your reflection for a sold 30 minutes tho
-TURN OFF YOUR PHONE
-Devote at least 12 hours to active tripping, and another 12 to sleeping/general recovery. You don’t want to go to work/school after, you’ll be exhausted both physically and mentally.
-Now it’s time to take it! If you bought a strip, carefully cut along the perforation, holding the edges only. Place it under your tongue and wait for it to dissolve, then swallow. LSD has no taste, so if you taste anything other than paper/ink, spit it out! Chances are its a research chemical of some sort which can be dangerous, and you should never take a drug if you don’t know for sure what it is and what the effects are.
-Dosage will vary depending on how much they actually put on the blotter and how it was handled. The less hands it passes through, the better. It’s best for your first time to start out with one hit, then if you feel up to it take another a few hours later.
-It’s tempting to make plans before hand, but most of the time those go out the damn window once you’re actually tripping. So just put on a movie or music while you come up, which takes about 30 minutes to an hour. It’ll just hit you out of nowhere and you’ll realize you’re tripping. Just roll with it. The most intense part is the come up and the peak for the first couple hours, after that its smooth sailing.
-Acid isn’t like what’s depicted in the media. You might not have super insane hallucinations, that’s more DMT. LSD is more like changing how you view things. Walls will melt, the ceiling will move like water, people’s and cat’s eyes will look huge, and you’ll see patterns and fractals in everything. You’ll feel connected to everything and everyone, or at least I do. Everything will be funny. You’ll feel so alive. Music is crazy, nature documentaries are wild, sex will blow your mind, if you have the opportunity to go outside do it!!! It’s hard to explain, but just try to go in with an open mind. Whatever happens happens.
-If at any point you start to freak out and feel like you’ll never be sober again, just remember that every trip has an end. You’ll be fine, just lay back and enjoy it.
-Be safe and have fun! If anyone else has any advice to add, send it in!
European adventure advice???
So my brother is studying abroad in Denmark during the fall. Due to some wacky scheduling I have a week off in November and was going to see him for a few days and then maybe go somewhere else. I wasn't going to prebook and just stay in hostels. Well long story short, my parents took time off so now we are all going and they want everything booked. So my question is- what types of things are there to do in Copenhagen and what types of trips (either in Denmark or other countries are feasible). If possible we don't want to fly anywhere else. Thanks!
writing is gonna slow down for a bit.
I'm officially taking a trip to japan in january :D
Its not my first time going, but I'll be going back to tokyo for the first time since 2017. Its gonna be way more casual, i have dont have any plans or anything (Besides a few spots i remembered i loved going to).
If anyone has any suggestions for things to try/do around tokyo or within like, an hour outside let me know! Itll be my first technically "solo" trip outside the country so any advice would be great. esp as someone with anxiety and absolutely zero directional awareness.
Well good afternoon 😊. Know it might sound creepy in a way but I can give you some tips on to where it's nice in Corfu. 😊🌻 Least I can do.
Please help a girl out!
2/4 What are two golden rules to qualify for Travel Expenses?
Welcome to TaxNoTuesday!
It is 1 week before Christmas. Are your bags pack for your holiday trip? If not yet, stay with me because in the next two minutes we will go over what are the 2 rules for claiming business travel expenses.
To claim for travel deductions these two rules should be met:
1. Your trip is substantially longer than an ordinary day’s work, and
2. You need to sleep or rest to meet the demands of your business trip away from home.
Don’t forget, this rest requirement is not satisfied by merely napping in your car.
For every IRS regulation, there are limitations. Thank you for watching it.
Tune in every Tuesday for more tips! For more details visit our YouTube Channel: Wycotax.com
I’m going to be in the UK in 10 days & I’m sooo excited!!
If anyone knows of any cute spots (cafes, bars, bookshops etc.) in London please send me a message! My best friend and I are still compiling a list of places to go to on our trip :)
