When the pictures upload at once, it automatically indicates a tourist route on the map and makes a movie according to time order. The completed output is useful for tourists, who want to travel to the same area, to compare tourist routes, because Tripvi can be uploaded onto a social network service, such as Facebook. Tourism government agencies prefer Tripvi, because it is used as a good reference for promoting local areas and improving convenience for tourists. On May 7th, Tripvi went to the final among 10 teams in a G-startup competition by Global Mobile Internet Conference in Beijing. Currently, only iPhones and the web can use Tripvi, and it expects increasing users after launching the app for Android in early May. Kei Chun and Jung Wook Son established Tripvi in 2011. Inception of Tripvi started from a class assignment that Chun planned during his studying in Sweden after working in a digital advertising agency for eight years. After Chun planned a TV catalog app and came back to Korea. He started app developing with Son who was managing an engineer company. Chun and Son were entangled after planning a digital advertising project. For seven months, they made the TV catalog app, but they resolutely changed the project because of complicated relationships with broadcasts and copyright issues. Then, they thought about location based Korean wave contents. Therefore, maximizing location based-Tripvi was made by a goal of enterprise intrinsically. Chun said ‘I hope Tripvi would be representative of all in Asia by a cooperation with a local partner as a target to Korea and Japan. Information from more than 50 countries and 435 cities are uploading and 25% of users are from the Unites states. Because interest for Tripvi is high in North America, Tripvi will enter the global market actively.
