#troll help

So I started homestuck a while ago and Ive just got to act 6 and I made a fan troll. But I made her not knowing certain things. For example, I used a symbol that I made rather than an astrological sign. Do you think that's ok or would I get hate for not having an astrological sign. Also I unintentionally made her a high blood. I was going to have her a blue color but I made her a sea dweller and my friend said those were high blood so I changed it. Will I get hate for being high blood?

Oh goodness no! Making your own symbol and having a highblooded troll are both fine, both the mods have done it! Many people do it! Don't feel limited by astrological signs, your trolls' sign can be anything.

And sea dwellers are just fine! In fact they're fairly popular! Just remember if they don't have a seadweller blood color and they are one that they'd be considered a mutant, but even then go nuts! Again, both mods have mutant seadwellers. Have trolls all over the spectrum, it's your character so have fun c:

hi! i was wondering how you made your meenah braids? they look flawless!

they're actually twenty different types of hideously disgusting in real life i seriously ghetto made them in one week with a medium wig i hadlike i cut wefts and laid them out and seriously like fabric glues wefts together until they hit the floordont do thati think there's a site that sells REALLY long wefts you should look for that instead @_@

I really tried to find the FAQ really. Your cosplay's are the most beautiful ones I've see and I was wondering if you could give me a few cosplay tips: 1. What makeup do you use for your troll costumes? 2. What do you use to make your troll horns? 3. What would suggest as a good wig for Sollux Captor? 4. Thanks!1. Ben nye cadaver grey on the face sealed with neutral set, fabric paint or temptu on my arms2. A few methods: model magic + spackle / wire + tin foil + spackle or paperclay or model magic / carved insulation foam, spackle3. It really depends. But I’d go with one that already has a natural flip. Just go through black short wigs on ebay or take a look at Arda. 4. It all depends. Sometimes I iron, sometimes I buy them printed, and sometimes drew paints them cause he’s talented. You could try freezer paper or adhesive spray stencil, my friends do it and it looks nice.

Thank you very much!Well I'm assuming you mean arms and the like. I use a mix of a few things, depending. When I can, I airbrush temptu onto my arms and just dust it with baby powder or ben nye sealing powder. Otherwise, when I run out, I mix fabric paint until it's a desired color and dust it down with super white 0:

How hard is it to normally get the fabric paint off your arms? I normally use PAX and its pretty annoying, and I'm doing feferi soon and.. Don't really want to paint my armpits with PAX v.v

PAX remover smells like absolute shit and yeah I don't blame you, after AX last year Drew and I won't use PAX again.Just take a hot shower and scrub off the fabric paint, that's the easiest way. c:

How many face-only applications would one container, thing of Cadaver grey be [rough estimate]?

DEar GOD LOL THATS A HARD QUESTIONok well i think BOTH drew and I used one container for a few tests...and then a few cons (which is like three days of being grey each)idk I think if used well/wisely it could be like 20+. I've never really kept track but I do know that I have a container from January that still has like half left

Hey I’m sorry for the late response!!I got my wig off of ebay. Look for black lace front/drag queen wigs and you could probably find something like it!!

hia your feferi cosplay is really good do you have any tips with the make up how do you get it to looks so nice :? like the grey is so smooth looking

Okay I hope it's okay that I'm answering this publicly and that you see it!! I just thought others may want to see itOk so this may sound bad but one thing is that I apply my make up with my fingers. I know people are like NO USE MAKE UP PADS but whenever i do it just gets thin and smeared and bluck. I apply it SUPER THICK (ben nye) and then seal, apply more in smudged areas, seal, apply, seal, etc etc. DO NOT SKIMP OUT ON MAKE UP. I know it can be pricey, but applying it "thin to save some" is a BAD IDEA. It's really easy to see in pictures if you overly skimped out on make up. Just apply lots of thick layers, ben nye blends really well. Good luck on all your grey adventures and thank you!!!
