Concepts of an alternate Douxie who happens to be the Trollhunter. (I don't think I'll finish these WIPs)
[Note: Nothing is final right now and subject to change.]
Basic gist is that Merlin foresaw this, thus pushing Douxie to train in more than just magic. Therefore, by the time Douxie is chosen, he is more skilled in combat, plus is very knowledgeable regarding the amulet's capabilities and history.
Prior to becoming the Trollhunter, he is in a heavy metal band. One member, a bassist, is a young woman named Thalia Dorman*. (I have yet to name these members). He might not stick with them due to his new duties and the ingrained belief he needs to work alone. (Thanks, Merlin)
I'm thinking he might work part-time at a warehouse instead of at Mr. Benoit café, but he is still friends with the staff there.
There will be a few other differences to indicate how he lived those 900 years a bit differently, compared to the Douxie we know. I just... need to figure those out.
Also, he has long hair up until he gets a head injury and then, later on, burns after the fight with Bellroc.
* Thalia is a wizard who looks around 23 years old. Ice magic is more her style, and the colour of her magic might be Magenta. (Still very in the works) Her name may very well be changed once I've figured out her ethnicity.
