I've been playing Digimon Up in my free time after not really being into the franchise for about ten years. I picked a few Digimon designs from the game that I thought looked fun to draw.

(I wish Impmon was a partner Digimon though.)

More Digimon ocs!

Lewdo, aka 1EWD0, was unit 10 of an small infantry that fought against the Troopmon Army. He was the only one not converted in a surprise attack, leaving him nervous and conspiratorial once the war was over. Everyone knows there are still some troopmon lingering around, but he believes there is a large collective of the corrupt soldiers gathering momentum for a comeback when they least expect it!

Meanwhile, on the Salvation Taskforce, there is a Kotemon who is exceptionally sharp, involved in every aspect of the restoration. Surprise though! He is secretly a Troopmon that underwent a mutation, gaining autonomy over his blank brethren... Now that he's infiltrated normal Digimon society, these two are on a crashcoarse towards eachother...

So I was spending time with Vicky the other night looking through the digimon wiki for cool monsters an,d figuring out which we would be (she went with fairimon or Vegasmon, I’m leaning something like silphimon or nanomon/datamon) and I stumbled across one for all the drone kinksters out there: troopmon

Rubber body, check. Gas mask, check. Simplistic cognition, check. Made by converting others, check (to elaborate, they’re apparently made with data taken from other digimon or from erratic digimon spirits. Plus the rubber bodies are interchangeable, as an injured Troopmon can just exhale it’s data to get put in a new one)

As an added bonus: round

Sadly, it doesn’t appear much in the series, mainly appearing in the xros wars series, a Japan-only DS xros wars game, and some of the digital pets, and most of their plot relevance is as canon fodder for various villains (I mean I wouldn’t complain about being Lilithmon’s lackey)

They also appear in Digimon Adventure (relatively recent)
