“I realized you’d need one. You put it in backward, that’s what caused the explosion. It’s a common mistake.”

“You’re giving this to me?”

“You need it.” He said it as though that explained everything.

"You know I’ll make a weapon out of it. A weapon I’ll use to kill you.”

“We’ll see.”

The next chapter of my post-TLJ/alternate TROS fic is up and I’d love for you to read it. In this chapter, Finn, Rose, and Poe hatch a plan to get Rey off the ship for a good old fashioned Jedi Temple run while Rey and Ben/Kylo connect over her shattered saber – are they finally starting to trust one another?
