It's kind of amazing seeing the level of personal progression @cassandraclare has made throughout her books like COB has all white characters and makes several stereotypical gay jokes while she's now releasing a trilogy with the main characters being an amazingly represented, interracial, queer couple. That's growth right there, and I'm so proud of her.
