Encyclopedia Pictura est un mystérieux collectif vivant dans le petit village autosuffisant californien  de 18 habitants: Trout Gulch. Le village est fait d'un mélange d'habitations artisanales et de technologies avancées (http://encyclopediapictura.com/testing/wp-content/uploads/TG9.jpg). Le collectif produit des films et vidéos d'animation hyper sophistiqués avec une toute petite équipe et tout cela dans leur petit village. Ils ont aujourd'hui une notoriété telle qu'ils ont refusé des contrats pour Jeep, Sprite et Honda (clamant ne faire la publicité que de produits qu'ils utilisent.) Le collectif a une approche très DIY (Do it yourself), dans leurs films qui malgré leur grand raffinement sont faits avec des moyens limités. Encyclopedia Pictura a notamment produit le vidéoclip 2d et 3d de Wanderlust de Bjork et une publicité du jeu Spore.

Wow!  I am completely inspired by Encyclopedia Pictura and Trout Gulch and they way they've created a new lifestyle merging sustainability, technology, creativity, freedom, DIY skills and genius.   These guys blow my mind.
