Summary; Skye is kinapped by people in black uniforms, and all have the dreaded logo of Team Rocket on them. Sakaki wishes to have a heart-to-heart with him, but it doesn't end happily.
Skye was terrified, and he knew he couldn't cry out for help as the thugs that had kidnapped, blindfolded, and cuffed him, would most likely do something to silence him. He already knew they weren't hesitant to use brute force on him. The throbbing bruise he had gained from trying to run told him that.
As he was dragged towards. . .wherever these guys were taking him, Skye mulled over what had happened to him. He had been finishing up his last rounds on the ranch, when he had suddenly got jumped, and in his attempts to flee, had gotten punched in the face, dazing him.
Then, before he knew what exactly what was going on, he had been tied up, and thrown into the back of a van by a shadowy group of people. Now, from what he could pick up from the journey to where he is now, they had drove for a time, then he had been dragged into some sort of building. In his panic, Skye couldn't come up with any answers to what building they had entered.
Dey irnae just a random gang, Skye thought with a frown. Dey knew wit dey wir daein'. As soon as ah wiz by maself, dey got me-! 'N noo ah'm here, wherever here is. . .
He felt his stomach got into another knot, as he remembered exactly what had been on the men's uniforms. Right smack dab in the middle of their shirts, was a big red 'R'.
Dey hiv tae be who ah 'hink dey ir. Der's naw way it cannae be dem. Dey hiv tae be fae Team Ro-
The breeder's thoughts were cut off as he heard a door being knocked just a couple of feet in front of him. He lifted his head, as if he could help him see what was in front of him. They had stopped, so had they gotten to a door they couldn't get passed? He swiftly got his answer.
“Yes?” Came a deep voice from inside.
“Sir, we've gotten the kid you requested us to collect.” Answered the man in front of Skye, who was probably the one who had chapped in the first place. Skye couldn't help, but gulp.
Ah wiz right, dey did know wit dey wir daein'. Dis guy wanted me tae be captured.
“Ah, good. Bring him in.” There was the sound of a door creaking open, and Skye was quickly being shoved forward, into whatever room they had just opened for him to enter. The brunet stumbled, but he kept himself on his feet. He didn't want to slip up while in their clutches. It could end up with him being punched again, and being in more pain wasn't going to help him.
In front of him, he heard the deep voice chuckle slightly. “Release him, he doesn't need them where he is going.”
A chill ran up Skye's spine at that. What did he mean, where he was going? What was this man doing to do with him? While the cuffs around his wrists were unlocked, and his blindfold untied, everything bad that could possibly happen to him, ran through his head.
Was he going to be a hostage? A slave? What was going to happen? He didn't have any powers like Satoshi did, and he was far someone who would willingly support this gang's ways.
--oh. Satoshi. What is going to happen to him, now that his visits to the ranch had been found out? Was he going to be punished? Satoshi had done nothing wrong!
Sure that the blindfold was off, Skye waited for the others to leave the room before he slowly opened his eyes, unsure if he wanted to see his kidnapper. Swallowing, he did just that. He peered up, his heart thumping wildly.
Sitting behind a large desk, sat the man Skye had seen only once before. Back when he, and Satoshi, had first met. The man that had practically destroyed Satoshi's life after he had forced him to join his wretched organization. And now, Skye was in his clutches too.
“Sakaki-!” Skye snapped, his fear turning to anger.
The man behind the desk only smirked at him, looking almost proud of himself. “Oh, so Satoshi has told you about me, hmm?”
Skye stiffened, his hands balling into fists. “Shut up-! Why didjae kidnap me?!”
Sakaki lazily raised an eyebrow, his expression unchanging. “Are you sure you wish to know why? Are you really sure?” The tone in the man's voice made Skye's breathing hitch, but he continued to scowl at Sakaki.
“Try me.” He growled defiantly.
Sakaki kept on leering at him, unmoved by his courage. “. . .you are here because I wish to prove a point to your dear friend, Satoshi. He mustn't lie to me, no matter the reason.” The Team Rocket leader rose from his seat, quickly revealing that he easily towered over Skye. “And, he lied to me about where he was going whenever he went on one of his-” he paused. “jogs.”
Dat's wit Satoshi tells 'im when he comes 'n sees me?
“And, you have given him something that I do not wish for him to have.” Sakaki continued, his voice growing evermore harsh.
Skye took one shaky step back, hoping that his returning fear was evident on his face, or voice. “W-wit did ah g-give 'im?”
Sakaki locked eyes with Skye, his eyes dark, and filled with a withheld anger.
“Hope. You gave him hope,” he said, taking a step towards the shaking teenager. “you gave him the hope I had taken from him, and I will not allow that.” Skye nearly spat something out, but he bit his tongue as Sakaki went on with his explanation.
“-and so, that is why you are here. I am going to prove to Satoshi, that he isn't allowed to have hope. Which means, Mr Skye Amber Hunter,” Sakaki lifted up a hand, clicking his fingers together. “he can't have you either.”
The same smirk as before crept back onto his lips as a fairly large cream Pokémon silently stalked out from under the desk, revealing itself for the first time since Skye had entered the office.
Skye's green eyes bulged out, suddenly aware of the danger he was in. He had to get out of here! He had been brought here to be killed!
Turning on his heel, Skye ran for the door, slamming into it. It didn't budge an inch. Ice-cold terror coursed through him, as he tried again without much luck.
“There is no use in running. If you hold still, my Persian will make your death fairly quick; if it decides to give you mercy, that is.”
Skye didn't look behind him, but he knew fine well just how sharp, and lethal a Persian's claws, and teeth could be. Instead, he darted for one side of the room that looked different than all the others, unsure if that was a good choice or not. It wasn't like he had much of a choice at this point.
All Skye wanted right now; was to get away, and get back home.
“Persian, pin him down!” Before Skye could attempt to avoid the oncoming attack, the Pokémon leapt on him, using it's weight to it's advantage, causing the two to fall. Skye slammed into the wall, his head crashing against the solid darkened glass. When he tried to move his head away, a large paw shoved it back. The pain, and adrenaline made Skye's mind swim with stars.
“N-no, please-!” D-don't kill me!” Skye wailed, winching at the feel of the huge cat's claws digging into the side of his head. He felt the cat's other forepaw push itself into his chest, pinning him in place. “Please!”
As he plead for his life, Skye wriggled, and writhed under Persian's claws. He desperately wanted to kick the Pokémon off of him, but with the paw on his chest, he was stuck where he was.
He reached out to grab at the Classy Cat Pokémon's whiskers, knowing that, if he could grasp them, there was a chance that Persian would release him.
“If you are going to think grabbing my Persian's whiskers to make it submissive, then you shall not get anywhere.” Sakaki said coldly from somewhere in the room. “I knew you were going to try to use your knowledge as a breeder, so I made sure that little breeder technique doesn't work on my Persian before I ordered any of my members to collect you.”
Skye's wriggling slowed, feeling himself grow cold. The boy's eyes stung, as tears welled up in them. If he was going to die, then he wouldn't let his killer be the last thing he sees. He turned his watery eyes away to look into the glass wall, only to see a yellow shape moving within. Confusion set in, but despite his throbbing head, he knew exactly what that shade of yellow belonged to. It was Pikachu yellow; there was no denying it.
It had to be Satoshi's Pikachu, it just had to be. Did that mean the rest of his Pokémon were in this wall? Oh no, and here he was, about to be murdered right in front of them.
“P-please, d-don't watch. . .” Skye whispered to the mouse on the other side of the glass. He took in a shuddering breath, as tears ran down his cheeks. He didn't want his best friend's Pokémon to be introduced to him by seeing his blood being splattered across the glass that held them.
“Say goodbye,” Sakaki said flatly. “Persian. Shadow Claw. Bring an end to Satoshi's hope!” Without hesitation, the tan cat took the paw it had used to keep Skye's head still, and lifted it up, a dark energy engulfing the sturdy paw instantly. She watched with wide eyes as the claws flexed, poised to strike him.
Skye squeezed his eyes shut, ready for his death, but just as Persian was about to bring him his end, he snapped his head in Sakaki's direction, fury blazing in his green gaze. If he was going to die, he was going to go out fighting.
Sakaki looked taken aback by his brashness, as did his Pokémon, but he quickly composed himself. Persian shook it's broad head, grunting with annoyance at being so close to Skye's screech.
“Fuck you, Sakaki! Makin' yir Pokémon do yir dirty work is sick! Ah bet yir too much eh a coward tae kill me yirself!”
Skye was cut off by Persian's claws, as they, in the blink of an eye, ripped out his throat. Pain like Skye had never felt exploded from the deep wound, and he tried to cry out in agony, but all that came out was a gurgled groan. Persian finally released the breeder, and he slid to the floor, bringing a weak hand up to his wound, as he continued to wheeze, and moan.
As his vision blurred, his body convulsed, and spasmed out of his control. Instinctively, he tried to breathe, but he wasn't able to do so. Blood pooled around his neck, and he was losing all feeling in his body.
He was fading now, which at this point, he was happily willing to accept, if it brought an end to his pain. He shuddered again, and every attempt at taking a breath drained him of his remaining life.
This was how he was going to die, huh? Lying in a pool of his own blood, with his throat torn out, while the villain gloats over his victory. If his death had been up to him, he would have slipped away in his sleep, after living a long, and happy life. But, he never really ever got what he really wanted in his life, so why wouldn't his demise be any different?
Other than the roaring of blood in his ears, Skye barely made out Sakaki's voice, somewhere, far off in the distance, speaking into something.
“-I repeat, Satoshi, come to my office for an important audience with me.”
Even in his dire state, Skye knew exactly what that audience was going to be about. Sakaki was going to make Satoshi see his dead, bloody body, to prove a point. What a disgusting man.
