WHEN I SAY I LOVE THIS DIRECTOR SCRIPTWRITER COMBO it's in the littlest things, when yi san is shooting arrows after his confinement hitting bullseye after bullseye and gyeomsaseo is talking to him, the camera is panned in such a way that it focuses on junho's face but also the other guy at the back and when gyeomsaseo says he may meet with her at night to find out the truth as the crown prince is pulling his last arrow he looks in the other guy's direction for a split second and he loses the grip on his arrow but it hits bullseye. and gyeomsaseo looks astonished as says but my lord you never hit bullseye with the last arrow which implies he purposefully misses the last arrow to downplay his skills but because was distracted he accidentally aimed it right by reflex. ALSO showing how much he hates the thought of let deok im meet gyeomsaseo cuz he almost killed her last time

junho's expressions are so natural and he couldn't have showcased that without the director shooting it this way and the every dialogue after that making the audience question why why

and this is MINOR. ofc I'm not gonna spoil how the deok im managed to get the queen on the crown prince's side it's just cinematic excellence I think
