(Hi, also a huge TK fan here!) I totally agree with you about Battle Born. It's my absolute favorite album of all time, not just my favorite TK album. I love literally every song, the vibe, the lyrics, just everything. I literally do NOT understand why it's so underrated.

Part of my love for the album might be that I live in the Great Basin desert right near the Nevada border, so every mention of mountains, sagebrush, and empty desert highways speak to my soul on a personal level.

Completely agree, the whole album is just so comforting to me, even the songs I don't like as much still have something about them that I do love. Drives me bonkers insane when I see people placing it as their least fave (especially when imo WW is far less cohesive but ok)

Also omg yeah I bet growing up there just makes the album (and let's be real, most tk songs lol) hit so much harder! idk if you're already familiar with Brandon Flowers' solo work, but if not i HIGHLY recommend both his albums too! Flamingo in particular is even more of a love letter to Las Vegas than the killers' songs are, and that's saying something
