I love this photo. But it will fall into censorship (although I hope not this time) just for showing what I am. Why can't a naked body, especially a man's, be seen? I am this! I can't deny it, they can't censor it. We are born naked. Our body "as it is" has no clothes. There is no sexuality in this photo, there is nothing subjective about sex; just a man, just a body. I want to show myself as I am in my entirety without someone telling me that I am doing something wrong. I want to be myself, completely myself without absurd cuts of my anatomy. The body as it is. Yes, this is my face and this is my body. End, there is nothing beyond what is shown. I want to be proud of who I am without cutting myself short or giving explanations.

American post punk band True Body hail from Richmond, Virginia, USA and are comprised of Isabel Moreno-Riaño, Camille Byrum, Sam Ramos II, Kevin Painter and Hector Miranda.

I think people forget.

I think people forget with the whole body positivity movement, isn't promoting being fat. It's promoting real body sizes, because the media portrays women as being this tiny-ity-bity people when in actuality women aren't that small naturally most of the time, or isn't naturally the body image of the week.

I'm saying this because I saw a YouTube video

I personally am not going to show the channel but it's easy to find.

As I was saying. This person was basically saying the whole own your body and body positivity thing is promoting people being fat. That was never the original point of BP. It was learning acceptance of yourself, which I'm still learning. Living in a world were women are portrayed with this unrealistic body image has been damaging to me personally. Nobody truly knows what overweight is because there is no set size or weight that is overweight. Every person has a different point. That point is between said person and their doctor. I'm a 5'3 225lbs teenage girl, but I'm not overweight because I have A) a lot of muscle and B) because I've asked my doctor and she said no. So, no every average day person can tell "yeah you're overweight"

So long story short. I just think people forget the real message that was trying to be sent with the whole body positivity
