It's rare for me to put out two videos even in the same month, let alone within days of each other, but this was a goth emergency. Black Planet: A History of Goth and Death Rock by Nick Razer has to be the worst "goth history" book I have ever read. It is rife with misinformation and is likely AI generated. Do not make the same mistake that I did by buying it.
Fellow alternative subculture historians: avoid all works by Nick Razer/Lurking Fear Publishing. They are AI slop.

Albuquerque, New Mexico-based deathrock act performing their song "Terror" from their 2025 album Decadent Decay while in Los Angeles, California. Apparently this song is about sleep paralysis.

@artichokeaesthetic replied to your post “I saw Kommunity FK and Ex-VoTo last night”:
I was at that show too, Queen Bees? Twas really good, did miss Exile though.
That's the one! I was wearing a plaid jacket covered in brooches and pins and a red beret.
I missed The Exile too. I have seen them before, though:

Have a thoughtful Transgender Day of Visibility.
The goth scene would be nothing without trans people (and not just the one who runs this blog).
