I'm hoping the next chapter of TCH gives me more than the last chapter did (even tjoni enjoyed it, it was a little tepid)... I'm really thinking this is going to be a one book type of thing, simply because I wonder if this particular fandom is open minded for a dark tsundare enemies to lovers. However I think PB hope it will be more popular and pay off. Frankly as a person who actually likes the book and doesn't mind the dark side of this fae romance I just think it's a little slow paced to keep people interested, which makes me sad because I love fantasy genre, but the book could change pace and capture more hearts.

Kieran is polarising so I'm think PB wanted to take a risk with a darker character... I think a lot of people said they wanted a villain as a li and I feel like Kieran is just that, kieran is an experiment and I want it to pay off... I would like to see darker tones in books because honestly sunshine and roses isn't my favourite (even tho I did like TRR) I just want some grit... I hope the story picks up and at least lasts two books coz Kieran is hot...
