endeavor suffering from consequences would have been more believable if other characters had reacted and shifted their stance accordingly, but instead we have best jeanist overtly lying and trying to cover up the domestic abuse, hawks does damage control more passionately than ever, none of edvr's sidekicks quit they all dgaf about his victims everyone can neatly separate the hero from the father even though edvr has NEVER even been a popular hero , his approval ratings suck
horikoshi commits enough to make edvr complex and fail as a father, but not enough to actually show us ANYONE condemn him or care about any of his victims
hawks asking him who's responsible for shoto's scar is also a bit silly, like yes that one is on rei but it's awfully convenient that hawks doesn't bother to ask what triggered endeavor's wife's psychosis and why she was in a psych ward for 10 years. it doesn't work, horikoshi!!!!!!!!!!!
