Truly Funny || Poppy & Rue
Earth was peculiar. Everything seemed unreasonably normal. What happened to messing your hair up a little, and mismatching the pattern of your clothes? Everything here matched, everything was clean, and everything was normal. Poppy wasn't sure if she liked it, but she knew she wouldn't let it affect her. She was here, getting a chance to go on the adventure of a lifetime. The dorms were pretty empty, being that people all arrived at their own pace, and settled in at even more scattered paces. THe girl herself had been hasty in getting ready, apt to see the outside, perhaps have a conversation with one of the flowers which held her name, or maybe just day dream. There she was, sitting in the middle of a flower garden in a park down the street from their dormitories, trying to hold a conversation with one lone, bright poppy flower, and coming up short. "How peculiar, you must be a quiet flower. That's all right, though, I can do most of the talking." she continued like this for a while, before letting out a short huff of breath. "Maybe you are just having a bad day. Well, I hope the best for you. Toodles." the petite girl stood, grabbing her shoes by the straps, and brushing the dirt off of the back of her skirt.
She returned to the path, more skipping than walking, holding her arms out from her body slightly, as if trying to balance. A bright smile lit up Poppy's face, a genuine smile, one that could only come from a mind of someone really innocent and naive. Then, her eye spotted someone she was almost sure she'd seen around the dorm. Rushing up to them, she extended her hand. "I'm Poppy, from Disney."
