[Look for your Detours] If you're not sure what your calling is; what you're supposed to be doing with your life; if you're on the right track... Look for your detours. If you feel like you don't fit where you are, if you feel like you're swimming upstream, if you feel inner or outer resistance... Look for your detours. If you're lacking meaning or fulfillment... Look for your detours. The universe will ALWAYS find ways to bring you back to your role, your strengths, your gifts and your passion. I knew I loved moving, loved teaching, loved learning about how the body worked from a young age. But I was taught that these things were hobbies; "for fun"; not real things of value that people of value choose to pursue - not real career options. I adopted other people's opinions, I pursued other people's goals, I did what I thought sounded good to other people. But I kept finding myself on detours that brought me right back to where I planned on heading when I was a kid. No matter how hard I've tried to dismiss it, I always end up back here, where I now know I'm supposed to be. Jobs, education, iterations of business models, iterations of myself...I always come back to this. Now I realize that it's been all those other things that were the detours... math class (🤣), office gigs, courses, circumstances...each time equipping me with more proof that this is my role, my strength, my passion. This is what I was put here to help people with. Instead of trying to fit into a different box, into different roles i was never meant for (that I never really wanted), I'm embracing and appreciating the fuck outta my own strengths, gifts and passions.
