 January 6th, 2016. 

phew! I just got home from being in Arizona this entire week. I went to see the grand canyon, and also snowboard in Flagstaff with a few friends; by far, the grand canyon is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. We got there around 5pm (Arizona doesn’t have DST thankfully), and the canyon was literally blue/purple from the way the light was hitting it. It was so freaking cool! 

Also, I’m really liking photography! I got a Canon EOS 7D for Christmas, and I’ve been using that a lot along with my Sony a6000. It’s been pretty cool learning this past month about the different methods of shooting, and all the technical aspects that go along with it... there’s just so much to learn!

December 15th, 2016. 

Off to Mammoth and Tahoe for a little over a week tomorrow. Finals ended for me on Tuesday, and I managed to get a 3.6 GPA with a lot of hard STEM classes.... I’m so thankful that I won’t have to worry about work for a week either. 

This should be a fun snowboarding trip with a ton of people; haha I’m going to be SO broke when I get back, but that’s okay -- I’ll make the money back... eventually. 

I’m also really excited to finally go out with my camera and shoot!!! I bought a 35mm f1.8 lens a few weeks ago, and I’m soooo stoked to use it on this trip! Check out my instagram page for updates; I’m not going to be on here very much!

I spent roughly $1500 on my camera + lenses; i’m really excited to start shooting all kinds of things! I wish I had this camera last weekend in yosemite... aghhhhh
