Miss University 2015 Question
Manny Pacquiao's Miss U 2015 question: If you were given 30 seconds to give a message to the global terrorists, what would it be? I would not ask them to plainly stop nor send them messages of love and peace because these are nonsense to them. The fact remains that humans are innately selfish and more often than not we always seek our interest first before that of others. I would just like them to know how I pity them and their families that they have to be in that situation. They eat bullets and gunshots for breakfast, bombs for lunch and at the end of the day they will lie down in bed accounting for the many people they killed praising whomever it is they do it for and give glory as they doze off to a peaceful sleep. Enough for understanding what environment and situation these people grew up with, killing people never was and will never be an acceptable act. Saying that this is their way of avenging their ancestors who were not given a fair treatment is another twisted reasoning for these cruel acts won't bring them back to life. But I think everyone will agree that these very same actions will have a great impact in the lives of their children. They see you everyday with guns and bullets and when they ask you for what reason are you doing it you tell them its for the glory of whomever it is you are praising and they believe you because they trust that everything you do and say are true because you are their parents and no parent would want anything less but the best for their children. Is this the best you have in mind? That taking the lives of innocent people are at their disposal? And just like that another generation of ruthless killers are born. The government does not work for the welfare of selected individuals it works for the common good. As citizens and privileged individuals of this country we also have our parts to play in ensuring that our government gets all the support they need to in turn support us back. The problem comes when we think otherwise. When selfishness kicks in and we start demanding for our own interests. And if you always think that you are not given your due, why not ask yourselves what you've done for the government. Our government is far from perfect but its what we've got and as they say if you're not part of the solution then you're definitely part of the problem. 💋
