I think it’s debatable if Still Here is actually the best League of Legends Season Cinematic BUT I think it’s undeniable how they absolutely nailed the characterization of the champions. From the way Morgana rejects her weapons in favor of pure magic just like she’ll eventually do with her mother’s sword, how Kayle reacts with disgust not only because of said rejection but also in seeing Morgana be so raw and vulnerable while sacrificing herself. Kindred’s entire appearance, from the way they look to the way the fight. Lamb’s patience. Wolf’s impulsiveness. Yasuo’s older self going out of his way to not kill any of the bandits because he’s so tired of spilling blood. Yasuo accepting the death he wanted for so long, while Wolf’s eyes peer into him from the distance. Ashe’s worried face and Tryndamere’s fury instantly disappearing when he sees her, his lifeline in so many different aspects. The way he fights death boldly every time the fury sets in, not letting go, because he knows his wife needs him, he knows his people need him, and he knows he’s not ready to die. Yet.
