Prediction: we’re going to see a lot more “wordy” album titles from Taylor in the future.

Her first ten albums all had one or two word titles:

Fearless

Speak Now

Red

Etc.

But now we have two longer titles:

The Tortured Poets Department

The Life of a Show Girl

To me, this shows a clear and deliberate separation. We have Act 1 of Taylor Swift’s career (debut-Midnights). Now, we are in Act 2. And part of that means a new way of formatting and creating album titles
