STRANGETOWN FM: A WORK IN PROGRESS PLAYLIST

I’ve been so excited for today. I LOVE the gba and ds versions of the Sims 2. I’ve been looking forward to seeing what everyone was going to post!

Time got away from me, and I didn’t get much of a chance to work on anything, but I do have some ideas I plan to get around to. I did think a themed playlist would be a fun challenge that I could manage to start working on while I work on other projects so that’s what this is!

I figured I could start putting together some music that reminds me of the games, and Strangetown as a whole! So far I have some rock, edm and ambient tracks that give me that secluded, shady, desert town vibe, that may also have some paranormal activity.

And in the spirit of our simblr community, I wanted to take suggestions from everyone and continue to add to it!

Please send in suggestions! I want this to be a little community collaboration. 😊👽🛸

I pair Lola Curious with Honest Jackson because Lola has a high interest in politics, which is why I usually get her a career in politics, and I think it makes sense that she would want to get close to Strangetown’s mayor.

They get married, have a kid or two, and try to maintain a picture perfect image for the community… but I like to throw in some chaos with Chloe. I usually move her in after she’s lost her job and needs a place to live. Honest doesn’t like Chloe much, but Lola can’t leave her sister in the streets.

okay so realistically I know the answer to this question is probably just "for funsies (:" BUT hear me out:

if Strangetown is in the middle of a desert... why is the town reliant on nuclear energy in the handheld versions of TS2 (GBA, DS, PSP) and not... I don't know. solar power? why doesn't Strangetown have a solar farm?
