Eureka - Evil Witch Scalp
I found a fix, thanks to @frauhupfner who put me on the right track by suggesting a hair default would help. Well, not *directly*, but it made me twig that the scalp worked the way I wanted with HP’s no-overlay skin default, but not with ClericalRodent’s runes overlay. (Yeah, I know, durr!)
So I extracted HP’s scalp and added it to ClericalRodent’s default. BINGO!
It doesn’t look like ClericalRodent is active in the sims community anymore. I’ve sent them an ask to check if they’re OK with me redistributing a modded version of their default. I won’t do it without their green light, but it’s easy enough to fix in SimPE.
Here’s the txmt you need to add to make it work. Extract the zip where you can find it.
In SimPE, open your evil witch default replacement package. Add this TXMT, commit, save. You can also remove the scalp texture file (TXTR) as it’s not needed anymore.
Result:
No green scalp, and a working face / body overlay!
