Deirdre’s arc: Deirdre’s last few days, the immediate aftermath of her death, and my reactions to it
Delilah’s Curse: Delilah’s first experimentations with witchcraft have unintended consequences. Featuring Marla Biggs, Mitch Indie, Delilah O’Feefe, and poultry.
I shoeswapped these shorts ages ago, back when I thought I hated sandals. I've since found out that I actually just hate painted on shoes, so here are the sandals back. tfbottomminishorts replaced with a shoeswap using 4t2 EP07 Sandals Tie. Regular file contains just the teen default, file labelled ADDONS contains teen default as well as adult add-ons.
I'm reblogging my not-so-darkly set because the initial link wasn't working anymore. This is a set I did for GOS' "Makin' Magic" challenge... in 2017... (what happened to those years?!?)
Download it on SFS (new link!)
I've always thought the Goth bedroom set that came with Teen Style Stuff would look quite appropriate for witches and warlocks. Although I liked the shape of the items, I never actually used them because of the questionable choice of colours. Dark, Dark, and more Dark. So I recoloured them using Goat's wood textures and Shastakiss's yeti and pirate colours.
The number of packages is bordering on insane, and I didn't even do all the colours! That's because most of the furniture uses two contrasting colours, and I obviously couldn't limit myself to one or two combinations. Insane, I tell you.
I've included a swatch for the combos, as well as Shastakiss's swatches for the pirate woods and the standard yeti colours.
What you get:
- chair frame in all pirate woods + padding in all yeti colours
- mirror in pirate woods only (pheww, only five packages)
- the dresser, bed, bookshelf, desk and endtable in all pirate woods + a selection of yeti colours for the coloured accents (that's where the swatch comes in handy)
The packages are compressorised, and are clearly named so that you can cull the colours you don't want.
Credits: Goat for the wood textures, and Shastakiss for the palettes which you can find here.
Special thanks to @nathieke who nudged me about the broken link. 😉
Hi Droplets, I tried to download your Not-So-Darkly Goth recolors a few times, but I get only a part of the file. Is there something wrong with the file? And I just want to thank you for your fake stairs! Now these stairs are usable again and they are easy to use with Cyclonesue invisible stairs.
Thanks for letting me know there's an issue! I'm struggling as well...
I made a new zip, but I think the issue was with the download link itself. I managed to re-upload it after a few tries...

So I made the crib into an 2-in-1 crib/toddler bed.
Just one click on the bed to convert it from one model to another.
The crib can be used for babies and toddlers, the toddler bed is for toddlers only. They can use the toddler bed by themselves.
I added also the options to the changing table to choose baby outfits.
You can find all the other parts off this great nursery HERE, HERE and HERE.
All credits to Rebecka and @lamare-sims who made this possible, to @honeywell-mts for the original crib and changing table and to @jellymeduza for the baby tutorial.

The transformer crib and changing table use the same guid as the original, so you have to take out "HW_nursery_haffacrib_MASTER.package" and "HW_nursery_theotherhaffachangingtable.package"
I'm replacing my defaults, as you do, and I'm just very happy with how many new defaults I've been finding. And that a lot of them are repository-friendly. Although I stick to maxis-sizes, I also like that there are lots of body shapes available, including fTm and mTf conversions. It's very much needed.
I find that my tastes have changed since I last played. I'm much more likely to stick to maxis-match lately. This has always been the case with buy/build mode, but I'm also quite happy with keeping default clothes now -- just slightly improved.
Even the really silly one like the weird suit with clashing colours, or clothes that aren't fashionable / pretty. Because not everyone wears fashionable clothes... especially not sims.
It also helps that I have a better computer! Everything looks a bit sharper and brighter.
The two defaults above were made by Pineapple Forest (improved shoes ftw). I also use defaults by Rudhira, Nosferatu, Leto, Cat of Evil Genius, Artemida, Katsurin, Lifa, and so on, as well as Skell's repositoried clothes. Thank you for making my game prettier <3.
Hey, for the castle walls, are they the same poly count or does you lower them? Just curious! Many thanks!
Looks awesome btw!
Thank you :)
I haven't touched the mesh at all, so the polycount is the same. I just changed the behaviour (BHAVs -- so basically the code that makes them go invisible).
Pet door. Repo'd to base game Value door. To be able to lock sims out you need Pet Only Door mod by Mog. Because a certain site is gatekeeping xptl stuff. -_-
download
Want to make pet doors? Easy! Just clone any door, repo or not, shrinkydinky the door in 3d editor to size you want. Use mod linked above to lock out sims. This door is about one meter (1/3 of wall) tall. I just guessed and large dogs don't seem to clip it.
The third and final part of my supernatural recolors of various paintings in the game!
As you can see, there are 3 paintings I already did in the part 2 (quilt, duck and fairy) because I couldn't stop!
Every type of supernatural has a number, so that means that “Jodelie_Art_Arghist_01A” is the alien recolor of the Arghist painting. The A is just in case I make more recolors in the future (such optimism lol).
The “Dead” life state includes zombies, ghosts, skeletons and Grim Reaper.
There are of course no mermaids in the game, but I found so much cool art that I just added them anyway.
Download at SFS.
Optional: I made a CEP for the Needlepoint painting and included a white frame recolor, which you can download at SFS if you want it.
Yeaaaaahhh! You finally finished building this huge castle for your three Sims. But lo and behold, you can't see the Sims in question, even when the walls are cut-off or down! How will you check if they're smustling in the bathroom, or eating spoiled food?
It's a tragedy waiting to happen!
What can you do? Well, take a trebuchet to it, I say! A few well-aimed shots, and there will be walls no more.
Or download this replacement for the Store Castle build set. It includes (and replaces) Havelock's add-ons, so you'll still be able to curve your way up to the top.
Update - 2025-11-02:
added a version that doesn't require Mansions and Gardens. Thanks to Shastakiss for pointing it out! 😉
I also corrected the name of the corner inside column on the preview pic. It's corner wall with a view. Even though it doesn't have a view...
So, what's in it?
Havelock's Castle Build bundle updated so that the tall wall portions turn invisible when walls are down, i.e:
Slab of Wall
Slab of Wall with Narrow Window
Corner Wall with a view (i.e. the tall, inside corner wall) (the view is a lie)
Not affected:
the small top walls
the outside corner walls
the narrow columns that help around corners or finish up raw walls ("Wee Tower Walls")
the tower
doors and actual windows
I also reordered the init_common BHAVs and init BHAVs for all the columns, because I'm a nerd.
Caveats
Walls that you had already put down will have to be deleted and replaced to show the change.
I've had to change the behaviour of the columns so that they could disappear, which means:
they have to be placed against a wall
they need a ground tile below them (either actual ground, or a floor tile)
workaround: use moveobjects on
I didn't do the narrow Wee Tower Walls because, although they did indead vanish with the walls down, they couldn't rotate anymore without moveobjects on. Which would be fine, I guess. With how the cut-off works, however, they only disappear when not on a corner… so about 10% of the time. Not worth it, as they're not very obtrusive in the first place.
How to install
Replace Castle_Buildmode_bundle.package with one of my versions (noMG or MG - for columns in architectural tab).
This bundle also replaces all the individual build files, e.g. Column_WallCastleCapCornerOutsideSoft.package, Door_2Tile_CastleArchThin.package, etc.
Don't be like silly little me and leave them in like when I first mass-downloaded and installed the Store sets!
