New Years: Crazy About You

Herman wasn’t completely off when he cast doubt on Joey and Irene’s relationship earlier at the bar. Joey and Irene had gotten into a big argument the night before, and things were a little tense between them. She thought he was looking at another woman when they were out on a date; he says he wasn’t. When Irene comes back from the lady’s room, she decides to make up with Joey.

Irene: I’m sorry about last night. I just get jealous sometimes.

Joey: It’s fine, Doll. You’re a passionate woman. That’s what I like about you.

Irene: I just want us to have a good time tonight and not fight. I’m crazy about you.

Joey: I’m crazy about you, too. Come over here and sit on the couch. I’ll tell you how you can make it up to me, and then tonight after we leave, I’ll show you how I can make it up to you.

Joey and Irene move to the couch, and Joey has her massage his shoulders.

Joey: Oh yeah, right there. 

Irene: (laughs) Does this make everything better?

Joey: Always.

Joey: You look stunning in that red dress and those black stockings. I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep my hands off of you for much longer. In fact...nope, I can’t. Come here.

Joey pulls Irene in for a passionate kiss.

Afterwards, he gazes at her with a hungry look in his eyes.

Shayne: Um...I guess I’ll just go sit somewhere else, then.

Joey and Irene are so into each other, they haven’t even noticed there’s someone else sitting at the other end of the couch. Shayne gets up and quietly walks away.
