R.O.B! also known as Robotic Operating Buddy and "That Robot from Smash Bros" and soon to be "That Robot from the Galaxy Movie!" thats right R.O.B is back on the big screen after... the Minecraft Movie, apparently he was in that, in a pawn shop scene, but thats not Important! he has a speaking role in Galaxy! way to go little buddy, this is a really big upgrade for ya :>

Yeah so while I agree with (some of) the criticism on Mario Galaxy, can I just think that a movie critic is fucking gross for saying this thing. And frankly just unrespectful to artists in general. Whatever super safe, easily marketable, anti-thought-provoking, corporate approved plot they might have come up with for this or any movie couldn’t possibly be “worse than AI” because it would STILL BE MADE BY HUMANS. And ANIMATED BY HUMANS. And saying that thing is fucking missing the point for me because it implies that AI is only bad because of its quality. AI is bad in the fact that it’s NOT ART because it’s NOT MADE BY HUMANS. I don’t care if it’s an exaggeration and yeah I know all movie critics are kinda like this but this is just. A fucking weird thing to say in a review. And we shouldn’t normalize calling “bad” movies “worse than AI” FUCK

Super Mario Galaxy movie minor spoiler

I'm obsess with Mario and Fox first interation for 2 reasons

1. It's frame in a way the audience thinks Mario is going to jelous of Fox. A scene right before that is Luigi telling Mario he should ask Peach out. Cut to Mario seeing Peach with another guy, who is set up to be the coolest guy in a galaxy. It looks like it's going to be typical trope of a main character seeing their crush with another person and getting stupidly jelous over that. I always hated that trope. And this movie doesn't do that! Mario and Fox just look at each other and both are like "this guy is so cool", toxic masculinity found dead in a ditch

2. The way this is frame, had Peach actually had a crush on Fox, or had Fox flirt with her, Mario would not question that and neither should an audience. It is not out of the realm of possibility for a human princess and an anthropomorphic fox to have a relationship in this world, no one would judge that. And that's a world I want to live in
