stanley tsp 🤝 paul tgwdlm 🤝 henry batim
just wanted to go to work and ended up in a timeloop
why do clouds do that? the other day stanley looked out the window only to see a pure white abyss in the sky and for a brief moment he was back in the office. it wasn't pleasant.
- third person stanley
As much as I adore interacting with fans and fan content pertaining to my source, i often forget about the… more strange side of fandom.
There are times in certain communities, i’ll see someone say things about me that are…quite frankly, awful?? I understand that being from fiction, many don’t see me as a person and act accordingly, but I believe i still have a right to be uncomfortable.
Thank you for listening,
- The Narrator (tsp)
Nobody's asked about it but I'll address it. Notably, this goes for me, I do not speak for the experience of other Stanley kins.
For the events of The Stanley Parable, it really was effectively a time loops for me. That's how I'm aware of multiple endings existing. It was a continual repeat when we got to the end of whatever run it was. It was disorienting but it'd be like passing out and then waking back up with a mild fuzzy headache and a guy talking at me. I'm not sure if he remembered the resets, outside of the ones he directly referenced, but i know I went through the same events over and over and over. I know my life was somewhat monotonous before canon, doing same routine day in and out but this was. Different? I could tell time was no longer moving forward. I'm glad he gave me the bucket. It was a consistency that something had changed. It made me feel a little more alive, if that makes any sense. I don't know but there was hope with it. That change could happen, outside of those random phone calls and the tiny changes that made me wonder if I was really in my office or not.
I guess my point is that yeah it was a weird loop. It eventually ended but I'll send that memory in a different ask.
-Stanley, The Stanley Parable
Yknow most of my kins are pretty damn weird so I didn’t think any copinglinks could possibly be That Strange.
…Nope. One of my copinglinks is a disembodied voice, which is something I find arguably weirder than most of my kins.
- Narrator (yes the one from tsp. no I don’t get why this helps me cope with shit either but… hey it helps so who am I to complain)
I don't have TSP as a source (afaik) but as someone w at least three time loop kins: TSP kins, I care y'all, and you'll manage
