Ok so, what I got from Thomas and the sides realising Virgil was around even before appearing to them, when looking back in WIDS. Is that a side that's either not fully formed or realised/recognised, isn't visible to Thomas (and possibly the other sides) in the moment, but they can still feel their influence. And that they're visible in retrospect.

So what if I say orange...

by now, there are a lot of theories about orange and i have my own, but it would be really interesting if orange was a relatively new side. think about it. all of the sides were formed sometime during thomas’s childhood, even remus. imagine if orange isn’t a basic necessary facet of thomas’s personality (like logic and emotion), but instead something that was newly formed due to thomas’s recent dilemmas and mental health issues. (by recent, i don’t mean RECENT recent, i just mean thomas’s adultery adulthood, instead of his childhood)

idk i think it would be really cool to see the formation of a new side, the factors that caused this formation, how that impacts thomas and the other sides, how it differs from a facet that was formed during his childhood, etc.

Randomly throwing out a bunch of my thoughts/speculations on Orange, but wo any explanation bc I don't feel like explanation anything atm:

He's connected to both Patton & Logan

His symbol is an eagle

His name is Ethon (<- This is not a misspelling!!! It says Ethon on purpose. I don't think his name will be Ethan)

He doesn't get along with Janus

He represents an authority role, alt. is the "leader" of the dark sides

He does represent ethos, but also truth, gut, and rage

He's dressed in white and orange

He can blind people & has some form of fire power

He's one of the oldest sides along w Patton & Logan

He gets along with Remus

He has absolutely amazing vision/can see things clearly

(Also saying this in "is" form bc it's less annoying than saying "might" or "could". This is literally just me throwing arrows at a wall and hoping one of them hits somewhat close to the bullseye. I could be completely wrong)
