The concept here was simple: "can I construct a closed path that completely surrounds another closed path?"

Turns out the answer is yes, and after a couple of tweaks to the first attempt, I got an arrangement that can be legally placed in gameplay. (Though of course this instance goes past the edge of the board)

today was a day of kitty snuggles and board games then mario kart with homies. also amazing breakfast cooked by none other than yours truly. so all in all an excellent start to the new year!

we were playing a game called tsuro in the last pic but in what we call 'agents of chaos' mode in which all the tiles are in one stack and whatever you draw is what you play. so you never know how it's gonna go and it's amazing lmfao but in that pic we had just ended a game of couples' tokens (the colored stones) following side by side most of the time with kamikazes plowing into another person's tokens. so gray plowed into black and took us both out then white ended the game with a draw by plowing into blue lmfaoooo it was so great!! the game is all about not running off the edge or into another player and you usually start with 3 tiles and draw a new tile after each of your turns. which is fun too don't get me wrong but 'agents of chaos' is so much better. it's not only possible but even somewhat likely that you'll have no choice but to run yourself off the edge 😂😂
