tsurutau has breached containment
i was supposed to post this yesterday but forgor 😭 anyway. i made a jinriki tsurumaru utau and covered togabitogoroshi (killing the offenders) by suzuya hashime with him :] he is playing a not bloody game of shiritori

my own utau calytoren major is doing the harmonies bc i haven’t made ookurikara yet (but i plan to!!)

so i tried making a jinriki utau aahjdjkdlk. ive actually always wanted to do this but never gaf'ed enough abt a fandom to do it... until touken ranbu!! so now ive finally done it. thank you tsurumaru kuninaga. i tried to make him multi-expressional and it still took a lot less time to make than i thought. thats CV i guess. i love the metallic sounds that come from the fucked up frequency maps in old h-loid jinrikis so im happy to see tsurutau do the same. idk if ive mentioned this before but i totally unironically find utau engine noises to be,,, eroi 😭 theres just smth so exposing about it and its rlly sexy LOL
i used only voicelines from the game for this. for missing utterances, i just cross-faded a consonant and vowel :P also did that for samples where the vowel was too short (like his すs where the “u” is like 80% devoiced). hes got 3 different “pitches” in his prefix map— a high one using his yelling/brighter voicelines, a normal with tsuru’s normal talking voice, and a mumby/breathy low one. i think the oto is scuffed bc i lowkey forgot how to do this 😞
this is actually my first time doing like a fan jinriki utau… i’ve never had to go phoneme hunting again… but it was fun and im surprisingly happy with how he/this cover turned out. he’s so clunky and buggy, and moresampler hates him. but i had fun tuning him somehow www. will use again, hopefully with ookurikara soon :]
