callie who sees that arizona clearly needs some time so she takes it upon herself to schedule an appointment for arizona and buy prenatal vitamins and arizona keeps thinking how screwed up her older self must be that callie isn't even fazed that she's totally freaking out over something that they obviously agreed on and both wanted

absolutely arizona who prides herself on being competent and independent and yet apparently this is somewhat normal for callie to just do all this.

callie who’s so used to taking care of arizona that it barely even registers that she’s doing all of this or that arizonas unsure about it. like she’s been doing so much for arizoan for the past year and she assumed arizona would need a minute to figure things out so she was ready for it.

arizona who was sure callie would notice something was up bc she was freaked by the pregnancy but it’s clear that callie would’ve been more suspicious if she had just been fine with it

Day 2: TBR So I have already started Uprooted, which I like so far, I’m rereading Taming of the Shrew for my directing stuff, I’m going to attempt to read American Gods (no promises to finish @iamnotfromthisplanet and @masternamerofhogwarts), Between the World and Me was lent to me, and Spindle Fire and Rose Daughter look very good.

On a happier note, how happy would s6 Arizona be to see that she married Callie? The whole motherhood thing and the pregnancy might be complicated, but I'm sure Arizona would love to see that Callie will become her wife one day.

i fully believe that both callie and arizona are basically like that one john mulaney bit where they’re obsessed with saying my wife. like they love being married and getting to call each other their wife

and esp for arizona who’s basically just walked away from callie bc she didn’t feel like she could give callie the future she wanted. and then to see that callie got to have that future but with arizona would be amazing for her.

Imo the best time to send Arizona back is after 2 or 3 months. Just long enough to figure out how much she loves being (Sofia's) mom and for the baby to become *real* for her but let's not put her through the entire pregnancy and birth come on.

it just seems so cruel to let her be attached to the baby and then rip her away from it. it almost might do more harm than good tbh. like it shows her that she’s capable of being a mom but it’s also going to remind her of how easy it is to lose a child yk?

but yes for real arizona would be into pretty much every version of callie. she’s got such a type and it’s always callie at the end of the day. you can pretty much mix and match callie and arizona and imo they’re going to end up together with very very few exceptions

Oh definitely, the fact that it's also Callie's baby and Callie is so happy about it would make Arizona bond with her baby even faster. But it also makes sense that she'd want the baby to be healthy and not do anything to harm them even when she was still recovering from the shock of the whole surprise pregnancy thing. I mean, it would be totally ooc for Arizona to idk get drunk after finding out she was pregnant because it's all too much and just disregard the baby, if I'm making any sense?

arizonas like a notably cautious careful person so it all makes perfect sense that she’d be taking care of this baby already. plus she’s seen all the worst case scenarios so it makes sense that she’d be very careful

you have some cruel anons. arizona goes through the entire pregnancy -> arizona learns to love her baby, sofia and being a mother in general -> arizona gives birth -> arizona is transported back in time with no baby and no sofia. i mean. talk about pure cruelty.
