Lemme explain. This ship is very stupidly my bias (it's been years, this otp is my retirement investment) where I want them so together yet...I love analyzing the hell out of these two down to motives and interior selves. I'd so watch them like ants in a bottle. And then watch them fuckin. They are such a vibe and aesthetic but also so tragic in my hands but yeah I can't see them as canon mainly cause of getting Nem back alive and the setting clearly not supporting it. They elicit so many complicated feels in my fic comments and I love it. Whoever thought of this ship? Someone in 99' did - I'm just uplifting it and making it fancy lol

2. Nem/Zeus (Neus? am workshopping that)

Ah so you've chosen even more angst and pain. I love these two both as characters separately and for the damaged 'animals in captivity/abused siblings cope in the worst ways' vibe they bring to the table. Both are tragic and powerful beings who try to act as 'people' and care but are so so toxic to each other. Unlike Nem and Jill, you don't want them to work out or at least you want one to acknowledge the harm he's done and the other to not be as insanely devoted/clingy. They are just a train wreck to watch - and yes I outcrackshipped my main crackship. 3. Vladivaef (not in the AU but since you asked :) )

Funny enough I'm not that hardcore a shipper of them (I blame @sweet7simple and Anno for getting me on that train at all) and see them as the most tawdry 90s Russians with unexamined homophobic tendencies that are (just like everyone else here) fun ants to study. I can see them as toxically macho with Sergei's want to build up old Russia again and Nik's drive for more money in a possible not at all healthy mentor/mentee-ish relationship that got rather intimate. Can see them as ambivalent exes with Sergei being a big old manwhore and menace demanding things of Nikolai until the younger man ages out of Sergei's pref age range. Man, all the ships here are so toxic in my hands lol! (I promise others aren't as sad or complicated but most were oc and oc and wasn't sure if those counted under the bingo) Thanks for the ask!

discordia is very like.. superficially charming; underneath it all she acts a little bit like a playground bully. she loves magic tricks, drama, and games; she absolutely LOVES games, and usually can’t resist a good wager. though she’s a deity of chaos, she’s not like.. bad or evil or anything.. she’s just here for a laugh ! even if she’s the only one who’s laughing, but overall it’s mostly just elaborate pranks !!! she is an ally to the caballeros, but that doesn’t mean she has to make it easy on them...

she takes a shining to donald due to his natural unluckiness and his bad temper getting him into trouble at basically every turn, and shes like... a BIG fan of xandra... she thinks she’s the cutest and the coolest, and is always try to either play it cool or cook up some adventures for her (with limited success)

*the day has come to talk about this big maladjusted baby*

TL:DR version as his story spans over 10+ years of fanfic/rp and general AU content: Zeus is the brother (as in 'he' and his brother were created out of the same batch of NE-a parasites and placed inside T-103 clone Tyrants so saying they are related is a 'yes?') of Nemesis, the NE-T Tyrant that features in RE3. They were both 'borne' around the same time becoming middle brothers, Nem being created sibling no 2, and Zeus no 3 in order. They both were raised in a lab where their caretakers Simon Ghandon and Tracey Gamine groomed them to become battle ready. Tracey was kind and empathetic, Simon was...not. The labs were not kind to them in any way. Nem and Zeus are considered twins because of their being the near splitting image of each other and both were very close hence the purposeful names they were given. Zeus was the strongest of their 'pack' (there was 4 NE-Ts in total) but the soft hearted one; not the brightest but was supremely loyal to his brothers especially towards Nemesis. Zeus in particular due to the abusive world they lived in latched onto Nem heavily. As Ghandon's abuse of them all intensified, Nemesis grew very withdrawn developing intense anger issues, escalating until he took out his anger onto Zeus creating a toxic situation that ended with Zeus at some point 'dead'. This was revealed later to be not the case as Zeus returned many years later, mentally 'not quite right' anymore due to experimentation to keep him in control to Simon. Zeus is delusional, seeing the world through a child like lens with anyone not Father (Simon) or Nemesis as animals that he desires to eat out of a longing to be loved/cared for. As for Nemesis, Zeus both hates and loves him, wanting to punish him yet loves him very much in a romantic way, only understanding that what they 'had' was ""love"" (it was not it's codependency/latching on to what he knows, lets get that out of the way) and determined to have Nemesis all for himself even if he has to murder his sow and piglet (Jill and Sia). Zeus is a dangerously deluded and broken creature that has no leash since Ghandon's death and has no regard for human life, he just wants to be loved by Nemesis no matter the harm it would cause him. He talks with a tick in his voice where he can get out about 4 words a sentence, heals way slower and grasps human nuance even less than Nemesis does, and says things unaware they sound unsettlingly violent, childish and/or sexual in tone. Now add on to the fact that his strain of Tyrant are near impossible to kill, can take out special forces with ease and can infest people and you have a walking nightmare on your hands. Zeus is also thematically a foil for Nemesis, reflecting Nem's obsessive nature towards Jill and inability to see past his own need for love/intimacy to see he's hurting the target of said obsession. A lot of people in the AU intentionally are reflections/foils of others in this tangled, betentacled web. *As an aside this boy is such a barometer in how ppl react. It's either 'aww he's so fucking sad let me help him', 'I want to date and fix hims (somehow?)!' or 'he is problematic and mean bc incest' no in between lawl. Thanks for the ask!
